The “Sing Hosanna Scholarship” funded by the family and friends of Hosanna Barnes is a $1000 scholarship award aimed at helping high school graduates or current students of higher education further their study of worship arts at an institution of higher learning. This scholarship aims to help those students wanting to focus on worship including those in music ministry, theatre, dance and/or other forms of creative expression in worship.
Hosanna was a beautiful girl with red hair that was the color of a brand new penny in the sun and she had the most incredible, sparkling green eyes!
She loved to sing as a child with her family in church until complications from taking chemotherapy stole her voice and eventually, took her life.
Hosanna passed away in 2022 but our love for her lives on. It is our hope to raise 10,000 worshippers in her memory by helping fund their higher education to “Sing Hosanna” to the King of Kings!
